Although I met Whitney the night of her rehearsal dinner, I knew I liked her. Maybe even loved. That girl is HU-laaaaaaa-rious. It took everything in me to stop gabbing away, the girl has things to do, Ashley, but I knew between the connection she and her fiance (now Husband!) Peter have, the gorgeous venue they planned, and the festive JMU friends who were in attendance, it was going to be one heck of a wedding. That, it was.
Set at Prince Michel Winery in the mountains by Charlottesville, Virginia, their fall wedding was perfectly planned, right down to their first look and ample timing for family photos! Getting ready with her bridesmaids in the Vineyard’s suites, Whitney added a bit of edge to her stunning gown with a pair of leopard print flats. Ah-maze! Concluding the ceremony filled with family and “dinosaur” readings by friends (their wedding wouldn’t be complete without some giggles in the mix!), their Pastor named them husband and wife, encouraging them to “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”
Whitney and Peter, first off, thank you for being so cool. Your wedding was gorgeous and I hope your life together is just as eventful as that reception! ;) Whitney, I know I said it a hundred times, but you. looked. to. die . for. That DRESS was PERFECTION!!! The two of you are amazing compliments to one another and I am thrilled I got to be apart of your wedding day. Although I may have left a little sad I didn’t graduate a Dukette (‘cause it sure seems like a lot of fun!), ya’ll shared your love and festive spirit with us all! Thank you for putting your trust into us. 1000 congratulations to you both!
