Practice Makes Perfect | in film

One of my first rolls on the Contax 645 and I decided it was imperative that I take the time to try different set-ups in various lighting conditions to really get the feel for certain films and their reactions to light.  Other than getting a light meter, this would be my very first practicing tip--to shoot in different lighting conditions on your own dime!  I also varied the exposures to see which settings looked best with the particular films I was using.  Our house was my guinea pig as I styled it up as I would during a wedding...and I realize we need some more 'man' up in here.  So, I'm ordering a Tupac poster.  ;)
