Positioned on a cozy sofa outside of Whole Foods, one leg crossed in the cushions while their daughter quietly played beside us, Shana shared their incredible journey with me. When I heard Shana and Efrain's story, I felt like my heart had dropped to the floor. I was left in awe. After what the couple thought was a finalized divorce, they had both focused on efforts to move forward. Time passed, hearts were changed, and during Efrain's stay in O'ahu to visit their daughter (which coincidentally happened to be their wedding anniversary), being back together they fell deeply, madly back in love. And as fate would have it, turns out they were never really divorced after all! They were one signed paper away. One. Signed. Paper. Their story is one I have excitedly shared with everyone I know, as it's one that real love is made of. The goosebumps kind. "Oh my GOSH you won't BELIEVE the incredible story of the couple I met!". Seeing them together, it's hard to envision anything otherwise. She makes him smile, a real, genuine, proud of the stunning red-head on his arm smile. He encourages her to cut loose, letting down her guard with laid-back sensibility. Together they appear to be teenagers in love, tickeling and playing, passion furiously burning between them. Truly a rekindled love nothing short of a fairytale.
Shana & Efrain, I am grateful to have spent the day with you and your beautiful little munchkin, laughing and exploring and am honored to be able to witness your upcoming vow renewal. Your story is one for the books. xo
Shana chose the beautiful Old Pali Road for photos of the entire family solely based on this tree (and the good light that peeked through the leaves here and there creating some serious light bokeh!)
Is she not the cutest little girl with those bangs?!? She looks rather french, I would say.
Shana is GORG! Love her fierceness! Efrain ain't so shabby himself. ;)
