It was just the two of them, standing underneath an age old tree, branches stretching far into the clear O'ahu sky. He nuzzled close into her cheek, whispering a clever line. She laughed, her cheeks briskly turning flush. He scooped her up and held her high, the city and Diamond head peeking through the bright contrasting foliage. Meredith and James were enjoying a quiet moment together in the midsts of their busy schedules of her teaching (and finishing her Master's degree!) and him being a chef. Trips to different museums are how James celebrates Meredith's birthday and the lush grounds surrounding the Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House happen to be a favorite. As teaching is her life's calling, Meredith finds her heaven in stacks upon stacks of books, preferably the classics. A true culinary master James exudes passion in creating delectable masterpieces . Their intellectual hearts are stirred by the adventure of travel, spending countless days exploring different countries hand and hand--Meredith snapping photos wherever they go. Meredith is a smart, beautiful and glowing girl with a brilliant freaking smile and hair I would kill for. James is a genuine, soft spoken (but don't let him fool you, he's funny), entertaining and strappingly tall gentlemen with an unmistakable expression that lights up at the site of his soon-to-be wife.
"I'm the directions, he's the ingredients", she smiles. And I couldn't agree more.
I am SO pumped to be documenting their wedding this September at Sea Life Park, and guess what? James will be MAKING THEIR CAKE! How freaking awesome is that?!?
