They hurried throughout the suite, Bridesmaids readying for the big day. Two precious flower girls twirled under their flower crowns, pretending to be Queens, and Irma's mother peeked around the white double doors, beaming with pride just moments after she began lacing up her gown. Randall stood tall, glowing in adoration as the giant teal doors flung open and his soon-to-be wife floated across the cathedral and into his arms. The two live in California, (Randall proposed on the Huntington Beach pier--a genuinely exciting surprise for Irma as together they tend to be private) and found Hawai'i to be a great meeting place for their travels families--and to Randall who is originally from Guam--a lot like home. Hand-in-hand they danced their way into their lavishly designed reception where they dined, danced, hula-ed and laughed the night away. Irma and Randall--you two are exquisite! Both so sincere and kind with ginormous hearts. Spending time with you while on the islands was a real treat, and seeing the excitement you share for one another and your family makes me love what I do even that much more. It's easy to see you've found a warm, comforting and lovely place to call home in each other.
A few of my favorites from the day. Mostly film (Contax 645 + Fuji 400h | the FIND lab) with a few digitals in the mix.
