She joined her bridesmaids by the bedroom window, peeking through the plantation shutters and noting the change in weather, family members organizing under the big tent, readying for the event...and him. Crossing the lawn and mingling with arriving guests she spotted Tony. Handsome in his gray suit (and traveling wooden trinket Fu in his pocket), Jenna swooned. "He looks nervous!". With the help of her girls she slipped on her incredible gown and hugged her joyful mother. The early afternoon storm dissipated and their pre-ceremony jitters were put to ease when tucked behind the family house and they rendezvoused for a quiet first look, glimpsing each other before the ceremony and taking time to really soak in the moment. Set against the Ko'oloa mountains, Jenna and Tony exchanged vows and became newly minted husband and wife in beautiful Waimanalo O'ahu, the island where Jenna grew up. In a fabulous event of Hawai'ian traditions they exchanged leis, lit candles, and Tony stumbled over Jenna's middle name, in true entertaining Tony form erupted the guests into laughter. "It's kind of windy here, the dust stirs up in my eyes and makes them all watery..." he exclaimed, passing hilarious excuses for his tearful toast to his new Bride while Jenna, beaming and proud, admired from their candlelit table, grateful to now call him Husband.
Jenna + Tony--congratulations on both of your graduations AND your lives together as Mr. + Mrs.! Whatta summer!
