She slipped on her crystal colored Manolo, a shoe fit for a Princess (or, Carrie Bradshaw). Her bridesmaids fastened her veil, and her father quietly observing from the doorway wiped away a tear. There, in her family's home, in a room surrounded by all the great books, Meredith prepared to continue one--her fairy tale with James. Their Sea Life Park ceremony overlooking the windward side + crashing cobalt ocean of O'ahu was one filled with genuine love, laughter, and truthful vows that spoke to the hearts of the two and their crowd. Promising to always let him know when a meal needed more salt, under the cool gray sky that September day in O'ahu Meredith sealed the deal to her Prince Charming.
UGH. I can't tell you enough how much I love these two. Their ceremony was one that left you in tears, aching to go home and hug the ones you love most. Filled with the most meaningful details, Meredith's bouquet gave homage to James' career as a chef and donned mint tucked within it's florals, while the reception table numbers were colored by Meredith's students (she's a teacher!).
Much, much love to these two and their families. May they truly live happily. ever. after.
All of the following images are FILM! Woohoo! Shot on my Contax 645 with Fuji 400h, developed at Richard Photo Lab.
These two were genius and in hopes of having more time to enjoy guests (and their cocktail hour!) on their wedding day scheduled a pre-wedding session--check out their other shoot here.
