Weight Loss Secret: the Green Monster Smoothie

Ughhhh, the weight roller coaster!  It's the WORST!  & Somehow, I always find myself on it, especially after last month on theFIX aka our coast to coast eating tour!  Luckily I spend a lot of time in a bikini now-a-days, so that's total motivation to get back in the shape I was a year ago (but keeping the curves this time!  Side note: thoughts on doing that? Last time I was religious to yoga I lost my butt, I love my giant booty!  I need to add some weights and lungs in to keep it, huh?).  To get into my kick again, I start my day with a healthy and protein packed breakfast!  I introduce to you: the Green Monster Smoothie!  It's actually quite delicious, well, usually.  Sometimes it takes a couple sips to enjoy it (hence the funny faces) but once you get used to it, you may be hooked!  It can be made a variation of ways, but here is my go-t0 after my workout (I used to hate running, then Marshall kept saying "you should run you should run" so then I fell in love with it and now I can hardly run because I apparently have the "Hanes women" curse and my knees hurt.  Wah.  So, it's usually the elliptical and now back to yoga for me!  Some more smoothie & juice recipes on my Pinterest!  Why's it so easy to gain this ish and always hard to lose it?  BEER WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME?  I thought we were friends....  

Green Monster Smoothie

-1 banana

-1/2 cup Vanilla 0% greek yogurt

-1 cup coconut milk (or almond, or  dairy milk)

-2 cups ice

-3 cups spinach (more or less)


Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.  Then, hopefully enjoy.  If you don't, don't blame me.  But maybe try adding in things (like blueberries!) and mixing it up!  It's a real easy and filling breakfast, but cleaning the blender is a beotch.
