holiday 2021 mini sessions

1. WHAT'S A 'MINI' SESSION?
A mini session is a shortened version of a regular, full photography session. It's an awesome, quick way for people to update family portraits, have images made for holiday cards, create memories in a new location, or try out a new-to-them photographer. It's less of a time commitment which makes it easy for families with small kids and unlike a custom photography session, being a part of a pre-determined shoot at a set location makes the process simpler (and more budget-friendly).

2. DO WE GET TO CHOOSE OUR SPECIFIC LOCATION?
Picked both for their beauty variety, good lighting and privacy there are currently two different locations to choose from. Due to time restraints and efforts to photograph clients in the most flattering way, Ashley will use her expertise and select the best spot at your chosen location based on ideal lighting for each session.

3. WHO AND HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING? AND ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Due to time constraints, sessions are limited to immediate family members. If you'd like to incorporate grandparents or siblings please purchase two (2) slots at back-to-back times. Babies are welcome, but it's recommended they are 3 months of age or older. Pets are allowed, we just recommend you bring a friend or family member to keep them during shots they aren't featured.

4. WILL MY PHOTOS LOOK THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSES?
No way! That's the beauty of being a lifestyle photographer shooting outdoors without any props or "styled scenes". Every session will have different elements and looks unique to them resulting in photos that are beautiful and timeless; never cheesy. These will be images you can hang on your walls all year long and love for a lifetime.

5. CAN YOU CONSULT WITH US TO HELP WITH OUTFITS AND STYLING?
Due to the miniature nature of the shoot, styling and one-on-one consults are not available. If you'd like a more personalized experience, I'd be happy to work together on a full session! There we can plan together and let the ideas run wild!

6. WHAT WILL I NEED?
Prior to your shoot the team at Ashley Goodwin Photography will be in touch with everything you need including specific location instructions, parking details, and tips on how to make the most of your mini shoot.

7. WHAT IF I AM LATE OR CAN'T MAKE IT?
Due to limited availability, cancellations and refunds are not possible. If you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your session to another party (Ashley Goodwin Photography will not be able to facilitate this transaction. We will; however, need to be informed of the transfer to execute new contracts). If you are late for your session, the missed time cannot be made up or refunded. Should you arrive 15 minutes or more late, your slot will be forfeited. We encourage you to arrive to the session location early to account for unforeseeable events...and time to relax!

8. HOW LONG BEFORE I GET THE PHOTOS?
A quick turn around time for the holidays is key! Your gallery of images will be available ten (10) days after your session date; more than enough time to order Christmas cards or photo gifts.

9. CAN I PRINT THE PHOTOS MYSELF?
Yes! Mini Sessions come with an AWESOME 20% off coupon for your print gallery, and your photos will be full-resolution images that you may print at a lab of your choice. Please note, if ordering prints anywhere other than your online gallery Ashley Goodwin Photography is unable to help troubleshoot technical, cropping, or color issues with prints from other labs.
